Leadership Development Programme (LDP)
Employers be good to your staffNot only materially but emotionally too
As that will ultimately shape your destiny
Which could manifest in one way of two.
In centralised organisations, everything is controlled by the manager.
The organisation can survive without an employee but no employee can function without the manager.
The manager alone has knowledge of what the organisation wants to achieve (strategic objectives) whilst the employees are only tools used to get the organisation to its final destination. The employees work independently of each other (different objectives) with no idea as to what the other employees are doing or the main objectives of the organisation.
In this case the manager has positional power whilst employees are the tools to get the former to an end point (profit).
In these types of organisations, one will find very little, if any, accountability, motivation, loyalty or commitment from employees.
Employees will merely work to live.
In a de-centralised organisation, leaders and supervisors need to consistently monitor technical (quality), financial performance but just as important the emotional well-being (emotional needs and fears) of their employees and take corrective action the moment they become aware of irregularities or problems.
In order to achieve this goal an environment build on a company culture of trust, needs to be established within which all stakeholders (leaders, employees, customers, suppliers, unions, etc) feel secure, recognised, valued and comfortable – A culture of inclusiveness and interdependence with a drive and desire towards a common focus.
If this is achieved, employees will be motivated and will live to work as they will feel recognised and valued within the team.
Vision
“To develop a dream team of leaders who through their continuous combined efforts, constructive collaboration and positive intent, will multiply each-others skills, compensate for each other’s weaknesses and do great things.
Together for all”
